The thematic network USAEE - University Studies of Agricultural Engineering in Europe, has been organised in the framework of the Erasmus programme of the EU, Directorate-General Education and Culture. It has completed its three years duration and is now running the dissemination year. Twenty-seven countries with thirty-one Institutions participate in this common effort. Various synergies have been established so as to support the goals of the Thematic Network.
Goals
The basic goal in this network is the development of basic core curricula
in Agricultural Engineering recognised by FEANI and by EurAgEng at a European level. The establishment of a benchmark serves the purpose of determining a set of criteria/requirements
against which any curriculum can be tested and decided whether or not it
meets the criteria for its admission as a programme of Agricultural
Engineering studies in Europe.
Events
The first workshop of the network took place in Madrid at the end of
March 2003 and was devoted to the presentation of the Current
